Craig Wilcox has been involved with search engine marketing, search engine optimization, web site monetization and all other things known as “the internet” since 1993, which is just about the beginning of it all. In the broadest sense, he’s a product visionary and product manager.
Craig is the CEO (and founder) of Simplur, a headless ecommerce web development agency. Simplur uses WordPress, WooCommerce, and Gatsby to create incredibly speedy and powerful progressive web apps for the SMB B2C customers. The Simplur live video e-commerce product for selling more products per visit has won wide praise for its ingenuity and results.
Craig is also a front-end developer with experience in ReactJS and PHP for WordPress.
Prior to that, Mr. Wilcox ran a small online marketing agency focusing on PPC, SEO, and social media marketing. It was sold in 2012.
For Microsoft, Craig was part of a small team that managed $76 million in ad spend to promote Bing and MSN. At MapQuest, he was responsible for an Adsense account revenue line of about $70 million. These two “corporate” experiences gave him a deeper understanding of how to bring powerful big e-commerce and online marketing strategies to small businesses.
More generally, Craig considers himself an idea guy. He’s run multiple entrepreneurial ventures in the software and online marketing fields, always promoting something that is extremely unique in its approach. You could say that if it’s bread and butter or cookie cutter, he’s not interested. Unless of course it’s literally bread, butter, and cookies. Those are absolutely his favorites.
Craig lives in the West Lowry neighborhood of Denver with his daughters and partner, Cat Alletto, founder and CEO of Spark4 Denver Team Building.
